Wayne A. Stuckey's Obituary
Wayne A. Stuckey, 51, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at 7:40 a.m. at Aultman Hospital. He was born on March 1, 1959 in Alliance, and lived in Alliance all through his childhood, graduating from Marlington High School, then was stationed in various places in the military. Wayne was a U. S. Air Force veteran of Desert Storm. He retired from the U. S. Air Force in 2001, where he was employed as a mechanic and carpenter. In his past-time, he enjoyed wood working, hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Christine Stuckey; a daughter, Jacklyn (Jesse) Ernst of NC; a son, Joshua Stuckey of AK; four grandchildren, Zachery, David, Isaac and Levi; his mother, Wanda Stuckey of Alliance; a sister, Cherie (John) Estridge of SC; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his father, David Stuckey; and a sister, Christa Henning. Funeral services will be held at Highland Memorial Park on Thursday, July 15, 2010, at 12:00 noon with Pastor Rick Sams of Alliance Evangelical Friends Church officiating. Interment, with military honors provided by the Alliance American Legion Post 166 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1036, will follow.
