Wanda: So very sorry to hear of your son's passing. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you, especially now. Your friends, Bob & Lou Clayton ('54)
Our sincere sympathy. We will keep him and your Family in our prayers.
We truly will and still do miss Wayne. He brought us together in marriage and became an awesome friend and confidant. His courageous spirit and a can not be defeated attitude will never be forgotten! He is a survivor, but the best eventually have to rest, and Wayne is finally at rest, Thank God for that! Pain hurt him, but he didn't show it. The cold and the rain chilled him, but he didn't show it. The trials of war took their toll on him, yet he came back a positive and good man; those memories I will never forget. He was a man without boundaries, he never knew when to stop laughing and picking on a person. He loved a campfire and a good story and would always have to add a smart elic joke to the ending. Brave as he could be, Wayne would always tackle the toughest terrain and triumph over the end! He was a winner, and his spirit will always live in our hearts at the thought of Wayne Drano (because he drained all of the holes he hit, deep or not, we call him Drano!)You will long be remembered, my friend, for the good that you have instilled in our hearts, God Speed brotha! Andy and Winde King
My heart is saddened to hear about Wayne. I'll be praying for his sweet Mom, his dear sister, and the rest of the family in their loss. It's hard to say good-bye to someone from my childhood. It seems too soon. I hope you feel God's peace and comfort.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May the words in John 5:28,29 bring you hope and comfort.
