This is from 1996 when the sub finished decommissioning. Wade drove out & to meet me & my sister. We all drove back cross country, I think this was South Dakota, we camped out one night & watched the storms roll across the plains south of us.
He will be missed, but glad he's with his wife again. 😢🙏
Wade was a great shipmate from our time on the Flying Fish. His sudden passing during the Holiday season was a shock to everyone on the crew. We will always remember him for being a great friend to us all. RIP my friend.
