Thomas H. Hatherill's Obituary
Thomas Henry Hatherill, 62, of Alliance, died on October, 4, 2009, at 11:57 a.m. at Mercy Medical Center. Beloved by his family, he will be missed. Born on August 30, 1947 in Chardon, Tom was the third of five sons to be born to John and Helen Ester (Winebar) Hatherill and was named after his great grandfather Henry Hatherill. He was a 1967 graduate of West Branch High School and had worked at Sears for 30 years. He was also an independent contractor as a well-respected finish carpenter. Thomas was very artistic and loved all Ohio sports and even played pool professionally. He is survived by four brothers, the William Hatherill Family of Homeworth, the James Hatherill Family of Alliance, the Robert Hatherill Family of Alliance and the David Hatherill Family of Columbiana, OH; an aunt, Dorothy Winebar Sprock of Parma; six nieces, Jennifer Lynn (Martin Sasse) Hatherill and children, Alana, Kaya and Joshua all of Berlin Germany, Jodi Anne (Shane O Brien) Hatherill and son, James Thomas, Kristen Hatherill and daughter, Eilidh "Ellie", Abby (Daniel) Patterson, Alexandria Hatherill and Jacqueline Hatherill; four nephews, Dustin, Trenton, Brian and Michael Hatherill; several cousins; and three close friends, the Thomas Siegfried Family, the Jason Siegfried Family and the Thomas Siegfried Jr. Family. Preceding him in death were his parents; two uncles, Peter Sprock and William Charles Hatherill; an aunt, Laverne Hatherill; grandparents, John Hatherill, Sr., Lottie Pearl (Rasch) Hatherill and Fannie (Paulson) Winebar; and a sister-in-law, Joanne (Heintzelman) Hatherill. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Per Tom s wishes, cremation has taken place.
