My heart goes out to all of Toms Family and Friends. I have had the pleasure of working with Tom over the past 25 years. We never met, but he was someone who I always considered a friend. Many people that he was associated with in the plumbing supply business will agree with me on that. We all feel a sense of lose but are comforted in knowing that Tom has touched each of us in some way and will remain with us always. May God Bless. Becky Stevens Retail Sales Manager Zurn Pex, Inc. My deepest sympathy goes out to all the family and friends who had the great pleasure of knowing such a wonderful man like my Uncle Tom. I wish with all my heart that I could be there during this difficult time but please know that I am there in spirit. I know my Grandma Kathleen will take care of him and together I know they resting in peace. I love you Uncle Tom!
This last week has been one of those times in my life where I have truly felt lucky. I am lucky enough to have known, and continue to know, my Uncle Tom Egan. He was one of my amazing (great) Uncles, all of whom are gentle giants among men. It is difficult to hear of one of my giants being anything less than an invincible Irish man with a huge heart, and an even bigger smile. I guess in my mind, he is invincible. Invincible of soul, and I can't wait to see him in my dreams. To Marty and the rest of the Family: I love everything that Uncle Tom is, and I love you all. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences, and know that I am there in spirit. James Joseph Stephens
We are so fortunate to have known Tom Egan--Uncle Tom to me. I have always been so proud to have Tom Egan as my uncle. He always made me feel so special. As a teenager spending summers in Alliance, I was instantly popular because Tom Egan was my uncle. He was so cool, good looking and even had a convertible Corvette in the 60's! My Mom loved her youngest brother so much! So many of his nieces and nephews looked up to him. He was so loved by his brothers and sisters. I was very fortunate to get to Alliance last weekend and to share his last lucid hours with him. I witnessed such tender, loving care provided by his wife Marty, his stepdaughter Michelle, grandson Tyler and his sisters Marge and Joan. Tom Egan had the love of many people and he deserved it! I will miss his blue-eyed twinkle and am comforted only by knowing my Mom will take his hand and guide him in his new life.
