Steven A. Willard 's Obituary
Steven A. Willard, 59, of Maximo, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 20, 2016.
Born on May 8, 1956 in Alliance, to George and Margaret "Peg" Willard, he lived in Maximo for most of his life.
A 1974 Marlington High School graduate, Steven was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo.
Steven was a member of the Alliance Fire Department and was later promoted to Lieutenant. He retired after 20 years of honorable service.
Steven enjoyed being outdoors; golfing, hunting, boating, camping and racing motorcycles were all activities he loved.
Survivors include two sons, Jeramie A. (Naudia) Saeger of Louisville and Ryan Saeger of Maximo; a grandson, Chaenyn Saeger; his mother, Margaret "Peg" Willard of Maximo; three brothers, Eddie Willard of Canton, Bill Willard of Beloit and Randy Willard of Alliance; two sisters, Shelly Willard of Maximo and Tammy (Chris) Page of Canton; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his father, George Willard; and a brother, Tim Willard.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with Rev. Matthew J. Mankowski, of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Entombment will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
