But, when we were kids Steve was always a blast to be with. I remember one summer he spend with us especially. It was a great summer. Dear Sally Jo and girls, I cannot tell you how sorry I am to hear about Steve. He was one of my favorite cousins, even though I have not seen you all in a long time. I remember his sharp wit and humorous commentary of Uncle Gordon's driving as Janet, Linda, Steve, and I bounced around in the back seat on the way to church. It has been two years since I lost my husband, and I can tell you that God has a special place in His heart for you now, and even though you may not feel it, He will hold you close. We just met Steve this past year during the Fastpitch Softball season. We could tell at the very first meeting, he was a go getter and really cared about the Kids. Our sympathy to the Family. He will sorely be missed.
