I have known Shirley , Bob and Stacy since I was 4. My mom told me that Shirley called her and asked if her son would be going to Nursery School, (it wad me jot my brother). Ever since then Stacy and I have been friends.Shirley was my girl scout leader, my second mom and taught me alot about loving the Lord. Mama Shirley you will be missed. Take care of our loved ones up there. We will meet again someday.
So many beautiful memories of being at Bob and Shirley's home growing up. For the first 17 yrs of my life they were my adopted parents. They loved me and treated me just like one of their own. I recently lost both of my parents Ron and Retha Doyle who were their neighbors for 30 years. My parents had so much respect and love for both Bob and Shirley. They came to my Mothers Funeral last year and Bob spoke during the time of sharing and it meant so much to me. Once again they were showing love and compassion to our family just like all those years. Shirly you were beautiful inside and out. I wish I could steal that wash cloth one more time. I know Stacy and I drove you crazy with our shenanigans'. Until we meet again, give momma and daddy some love for me, as I am sure you've already met them.
Oh Shirley I was saddened when I saw you passed. God certainly got a beautiful Angel. I can't remember not knowing you. Rest in Peace my friend. Comfort to your family. Amen
