Scott A. Knauf's Obituary
Scott A. Knauf, 55, of Louisville, died on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at his home. Born on July 20, 1956 in Alliance, he lived in the Alliance and Louisville areas all of his life. Scott was a 1975 graduate of Alliance High School and was a member of the Atwater Congregational Church. He was employed at the Timken Company as a heating and air conditioning technician for the past 17 years and was a partner in a local air conditioning company for over 15 years. Mr. Knauf was a member of the Alliance B.P.O. Elks #467 and the Steel Worker s Union. In his past-time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and helping other people. Survivors include his wife, Lee (Young) Knauf whom he married on December 6, 1975; a daughter, Tiffany Knauf of Canal Fulton; a son, Derrick (Tracy) Knauf of Perry; one granddaughter, Dylan; two brothers Richard (Tricia) Knauf of New Orleans, LA and Craig Knauf of Cuyahoga Falls; and a nephew, Richard Knauf of Covington, LA. Preceding him in death were his parents, Dick "Leonard" and Jean (Vandegrift) Knauf, and a niece, Brandi Knauf. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. His funeral service will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, March 30, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joseph Peters officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Union Cemetery.
