I miss grandma so much and have so many memories of her as she raised me in my younger years. I loved how she took care of Scott and I. We always felt so safe in her care. She was an amazing caretaker and homemaker. She had the energy of three women! I remember her having trouble with my hair when I was little because it was so unruly, curly, and red! It just would not do what she wanted it to. When she made pasta, she would put butter on mine because I didn't like sauce. That made me feel special and when she gave us our nightly bath we got a good scrubbing and were tucked into clean ironed sheets. We never went to bed without our snack, usually cookies and milk. She was a wonderful grandmother and mother. My mom really loved her mother. Every time she came to visit us my mom cried when she left. She always wanted to be closer to her. They didn't always see eye to eye but they had a strong love for one another. I picture them together right now never to be separated again. I love and miss them both so much! Angel
