Richard Carmen Brienza passed away, surrounded by his family, in his home in Alliance, Ohio on March 19th, 2024 at 9:05 AM at the age of 81. Ric is predeceased by his parents, Carmen and Thelma (Donohue) Brienza; his sister George Read Obituary
Just learned of the passing of Ric. A sad day for the family and the Alliance community. Ric was an outstanding supporter of Alliance High School athletics and academics. His good works will live on through the efforts of his family and many friends.

Today, I paid my final respects to one of the greatest people I have ever had the privilege to meet. Ric Brienza was the patriarch of the family, which along with his dear and beautiful wife of 60 years, Laura, adopted me as one of their own, as did their five children, who have been a part of my life for over 40 years. As you read his obituary, you will see that he was a man of great accomplishment and character.

Almost 30 years ago Ric and Laura accepted to host me in their home for some time. Without even realizing, that time became the rest of our lives, and their wonderful family became part of mine very quickly. I became their Spanish daughter. Thank you for your generosity with me, Carlos and our families.
Ric is now resting in peace, and all of us will miss him dearly.

Ric was a very decent, intelligent and Loving man. He had a robust sense of humor. Talented beyond comprehension, he had so many things all going at once and enjoyed every minute. He married an Angel in Laura and helped father children who were all noticeably intelligent. A Family man and a man of God. He will be deeply missed. My Respect and Deepest Sympathy to the Family
