My sincerest condolences to Ray's family. It was truly an honor and a pleasure to have been his friend for so many years. May he rest in peace.
I was in the service with Ray during WW11 and became reacquainted with him about fourteen years ago during our LST1014 yearly reunions. He was a wonderful friend and was dearly loved by all of us...he will be sorely missed. Our condolences to all his family and friends.
We wish to send our deepest sympathy to Ray's family and friends. Ray served with my father on the LST 1014 during WWII and we got to know Ray about 12 years ago from attending their reunions. It was our pleasure to have known Ray. John and Willie Hankins
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Love, Aaron and Sunny Aanderud
I would like to send my concern to the family and friends of Ray. I think this thought at John11:20-27 will be of comfort to you.
The warmth of your house, the joy of your smile, you will be missed by your nieces and nephews O Great Physician you didn't shy away from death but conquered it with your mighty strength. Embolden us so that we also dare to stare death in the face with confidence that it can no longer keep its hold on us Amen
My dear friend, Ray. What a pleasure to know you. You always brightened my days with your wonderful smiles. I will miss our talks, and the nice friendship cards that you always sent to me. Rest now, for you fought a good fight. Love from your friend - Mary Ann
