Ralph "Andy" Labus' Obituary
Ralph "Andy" Labus, 50, of Alliance, was pronounced at 2:10 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2011, in the emergency room at Alliance Community Hospital. He was born on June 10, 1961 in Alliance and lived in here all of his life. A 1979 graduate of Marlington High School, he was Assistant Manager at Rent-A-Center, where he was employed for 10 and a half years. Mr. Labus was a social member of Dante Alighieri Society and in his past-time, he enjoyed all kinds of sports, but especially loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his mother, Lynette Bell of North Benton; his father, Ralph Labus of Alliance; two sisters, Tina (Tony) Cappelli of Chagrin Falls, OH, and Debbie (Mike) Helm of Alliance; several nieces and nephews, Adam, Shane, Stephanie, Holly, Christy & Nicholas; two aunts, Thelma May and Jewell Rose; one uncle, Jimmie Holbrook; and numerous cousins. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jimmie Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements are by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, 1000 S. Union Avenue, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
