She was a second Mom to me growing up on Salem Church. I'm sure she believed she had another son most of the time, I spent so much time there. Those are wonderful memories. Everyone remembers the time I almost burned the neighborhood down with my grass fire. That was exciting and she never said a negative word. All great memories hanging out at her home!!

I have such fond memories of Mary. Growing up right down the street, a good deal of my childhood was spent with the Gerbacks. There was a time when I fondly called Mary my second Mom. I remember the times spent ice skating when she would always have cookies and hot chocolate for the neighborhood kids. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To the Mary Gerback Family - I am a long-time friend of Sue and, although we never met, l felt close to Mary having heard so much about her. I remember for her 80th birthday, everyone sent her a birthday card - even those she did not know - to make her feel loved and celebrated. I was one of those people and am glad that I did. She raised a beautiful, loving family and I know she will be deeply missed. May God bless her as she now rests in peace at her new heavenly home where she belongs - by her husband's side.
