I only knew Marcy through her granddaughter, Jen. Marcy and her husband James were two loving, caring individuals, who exhibited both graciousness and affection to family and friends. THey welcomed us into their family, sharing the last two Christmas Eves with us. I will miss these times and pray that James and his family will adjust to this new change in their lives. I am confident that Marcy is smiling down on all of them from heaven. I only wish that we could be with you all now, but circumstances did not allow for this, so know that we are with you in our thoughts and prayers. All our love, The Prices

I had the opportunity to get to know Marcy the year I worked with her prior to her retirement from the Health Center at Mount Union College. Marcy liked her work, always did her best, and tried to do what was right. She had endless energy. Marcy showed great concern for the students at the college. She visited them while they were in the hospital, waited at the hospital while they had surgery, and on one occassion that I know of she drove a student to a doctor's appointment in Canton because he did not have transportation and she wanted to make sure he got there. I imagine she did many nice things like that for many students during her 39 years as College Nurse - because that was the kind of person she was. When students were ill, homesick, or had problems, she was like a mother to them - someone who could help them feel better when their families were far away.
