When I first got my girls (they came to me from foster care, one was 6 months old and the other was 2.5), he and Charline drove to our house in manassas Virginia one evening from ohio just so they could meet the girls. They spent a few hours with us and then drove home. We really appreciated the caring and love that both of them showed for our family
Since he loved vibrant colors, we are choosing to celebrate him by wearing bright colors at the calming hours/service. If you prefer the traditional black grieving garb, wear away. If you’d like to join us in creating a vibrant rainbow of color to celebrate him, however, that would be lovely!!
I. always knew Larry as Pinky since his older brother was Red. We would visit his family in Ohio. The last time I saw him was 1996 at my mother’s 80th birthday in New Jersey. He drove to attend her party and drove back to Ohio immediately following. My family appreciated his efforts to honor our mother.
