Karen Haidet Abney's Obituary
Karen Ann (Koch) Haidet-Abney, 81, of Alliance, passed away following an extended illness on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 2:42 pm at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital in Alliance, Ohio.
Born on May 4, 1945 in Alliance to Edward and Helen (Keszeg) Koch, she lived in Alliance all of her life.
She was a 1963 graduate of Alliance High School.
Karen enjoyed taking care of her dogs, working in her flower garden, hiking and cooking.
Survivors include her son, Chris Haidet of Alliance; and her brother, Ed Koch of Alliance.
Preceding her in death was her son, Rick Haidet and her parents.
Her Private Funeral Service will be held at a later date when she will be laid to rest with her son, Rick, at Fairmount Memorial Park.
