My Grandparents moved next door to Karen in 1993. She soon became a dear friend to my whole family. Photos from '01 of her always lovely back yard.
Deepest sincere condolences to Karen's loved ones and friends, My daughter Angie introduced me to her on a video chat so I could meet her new friend, she loved Karen like a bonus grandma. Karen and I shared a few laughs especially when she pointed out that we both had the same hairstyle .. she was very pleasant and happy. Rest in heavenly peace my friend. I met Karen by chance answering a Facebook post her son Chris made looking for a cleaning lady, from day one I knew things were going to work out great and little did I know within 3 visits it would become a friendship that felt like we'd known each other for years... I knew when I got to her house I was going to be greeted with a beautiful smile and her saying "hey girl" in a cheerful way that always put a smile on my face.. followed by a hug and a "love you girl" in the same cheerful voice on my way out... I beleive god puts us where he wants us and i'm thankful that I got the chance to know such a wonderful person and been a part her and her familys lives. I will miss and never forget her...

The Facchini Family kids and the Koch Family kids grew up together in an apartment on Webb Street. They became one big family and long lasting friends as the years went by. What great memories we have of the good times and sad memories of not so good. Karen was special in her love for her sons, her brother and love for her dogs. It was sad to see that it was her time to leave this earth. But we will indeed remember all the good times. Goodby my friend Karen Ann.
