Joseph M. Fudoli's Obituary
Joseph M. Fudoli, 79, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, January 13, 2004, at Alliance Community Hospital. Born in Amsterdam, OH, on April 2, 1924, he graduated from Alliance High School and lived most of his life in Alliance. A US Navy veteran of World War II, he retired with 40 years of service as an erector from the Alliance Machine Co. Mr. Fudoli was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and the Christopher Columbus Society. He cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and enjoyed helping others. He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Miller) Fudoli, they were married on Nov. 16, 1946; two daughters, Karen Fudoli of Alliance and Suzann Smith of Beloit; three grandchildren, Trina, Joseph, and Ryan; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stefano and Angelina (Reda) Fudoli; three sisters, Frances Fudoli, Lena Paone, and Josephine Dorsey; and a brother, Bruno Fudoli. A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. There will be no calling hours. The Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
