David Sarris
Joe Fudoli, you were my dad Pete Sarris best friend growing up and as family marriage and the cares of keeping a good job and responsibilities of life would allow. I remember my Dad telling me once when the fork lift broke down at Alliance Machine and a barrel that weighed 580 pounds was stuck on the scale and they needed it off moved quickly! Although you never got more than 10- 15 pounds heavier than high school one the plant guys said.."I know how to move it go get FUDOLI"! They did and you bear hugged the drum and asked where you guys want it?? They all couldn't believe a tall skinny guy was strong as an Oz...I remember you would come to the house before we left Alliance and hoist me like a feather to the ceiling...We say you holidays and after I was
7 years old never saw you again we moved my dad took a job out of town then out of state.
But the stories I remember. How you before you all left for WWII went for a last ride 4 buddies together in my Dad's 1931 Buick and you tried to park it in an alley or my Dad did and they had steel poles to keep cars from pulling in but didn't know at night, Dad said the car got lodged tight and couldn't move spinning wheels either forward or back so the all said come on Joe get us loose.
You got out and leaned into it like superman and pushed it back through those steel cement filled poles like it was made out of wax.....My dad died Joe on May 23, 2011..at 87 years....I saw him heartbroken when he heard of your passing over here in Pennsylvania, he was going to make it to your calling hours but found you didn't have any..
GOD Bless you Joe and your whole family. Maybe the grandkids will enjoy my stories about their
strongman World WAR II HERO GRANDPA, as much as I was glad to tell them. Truly missed but never forgotten. Respectfully David Sarris,. Pete T. Sarris younger son,. My brother is Dorian Sarris, my mother was your wife's friend Erma Sarris, she passed in Alliance on OCTOBER 24, 2015 at 93yrs
