Dearest Family, Many, many years ago I had the pleasure of meeting your Dad and Grandfather. He was a good friend of Mary and Chuck Ruff. Mary and I are cousins. It was Chuck who introduced us and when I visited the Ruff's in Alliance, Chuck and I would visit Joe and sit in his kitchen and share in his gracious hospitality. These visits were at least once a year and continued even after Chuck passed away and one of the girls would bring me over to visit. There are many fond memories of these visits. I was looking forward to another visit this coming May. Please know that this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. I will offer my Divine Liturgy -Holy Mass for the repose of Joe and all departed members of your family. May his memory be eternal - eternal rest and peaceful repose.

Grandpa Joe was the best man I have ever know. He was always there whenever he was needed and he will be greatly missed by all. He will always he in our hearts and watching over all of us. I love and miss you grandpa.
