Grandpa, you are still missed so much. I watched Artemis II launch. We went to Ponte Vedra Beach to watch it clearly. You would have loved it! I remember on July 16, 1969, watching the astronauts launch that saw us land them on the moon and take first steps on the surface. As we watched the launch outside in our yard then, you were so full of wonder and joy. You cried because you never thought you would live to see such a thing happening. I will always carry this memory of you, among other great ones. This one was special because we were kindred souls when it came to space and rockets. You were the best Grandpa and human. You did quiet acts of kindness for as long as you were alive. So many came to your funeral that you had touched over the years with kind acts. I love you, Grandpa!
