I remember being about 7 yrs. old,...standin on the side of Courtney road,...by the mailbox, out front of our property, at Dowdyville,...and i looked down the road to the East,...headed twards Sebring,...and I could hear , my Dads Harley ,..and I saw it , riding down the road, and headed away from me,..but with him ,...standing straight up on it with his feet on the seat , and his hands outstreatched, far and wide, ... at each side ,...his arms reaching out like two huge, wings,...like an Eagle, gliding , effortlessly, free,.. like a fresh country breeze, atop the feilds, of a blue sky,...
...and I remember thinking to myself,..."WOW!!! ...MY DADDY, IS MY HERO!..."...And the way he was standing upright , and straight as a board,...both feet together like a soilger,..and his arms and hands ,..held out,like the flat wings of a low, flying plane,...His body, stood like this ,..was similar to the shape of,..and resembled fhat of , the old wooden cross,...and he looked as brave, and as strong , and just, as sure, .. as Jesus mustve been, and looked, when He was alive on earth before his crusifiction and reserection.
...My Dad was Born my HERO, that summer day,....and to me, he was as amazing as Jesus,...and has been, and always will be,...ever, since!
