Harley gave many good years of service to Marlington Local Schools. He kept Marlboro Elementary together with his frequent repair jobs and had the building clean every morning for the staff and students. He was a genuinely good man and had a kind smile for everyone. I have fond memories of him enjoying his radio as he worked late, listening to the Indians or his favorite tunes. May you find comfort in your memories.
Gene & I were best friends growing up thru school... we did so very much together throughout high school... Marine Corps at the same time, Many good memories with an ole friend, he will be missed greatly...such a great guy & wonderful friend. My condolences to his family, I've never met you, but I'm sure you will miss him being by your side. We are getting to that age that more of us will be visiting him within a short time, because time flies so fast the older you get. Take care... RIP.... luv ya buddy!
Gene is an old freind from Alliance. We went to The First Christian Church for many years. Many good times together with Larry Crist, Larry Hunt and many others. We were in the Marines at the same time. Will miss him. New his father Sgt. Nutter of the Alliance police dept. Very good family.
Lee and I would like to send our sincere sympathy to Royce and her family. Harley was very strong through the whole ordeal and now he is without pain and he deserves to be at peace and comfortable at last. Royce has alot of people who care about her and help her through this. She is not alone. He will be missed. Love LaVetta and Lee Bowers. He was a nice person and very thoughtful to the people all around him.
