Frank A. Corbi's Obituary
Frank A. Corbi, 61, of Alliance, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013, at 11:05 p.m. at University Hospital in Cleveland. Born on October 22, 1951 in Dayton, he lived in the Alliance and Akron areas most of his life. He was a graduate of West Branch High School and Youngstown State University. Frank s passion was aviation and he spent most of his life flying. He was recently employed by McKinley Air Transport, and had worked many years for Corbi Aircraft Sales selling small private aircraft. Frank touched the lives of everyone he met. He had a wonderful ability to make everybody feel special and no one was a stranger to him. Survivors include his wife, Dabney (Denbrock) Corbi whom he married in 1999; two sisters, Linda (Mike) Kan of Florida and Cindi Corbi of Alliance; two nieces and a nephew; and a multitude of friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank and Agnes (Svoboda) Corbi. His memorial service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Chapel on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Matthew M. Mankowski of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiating. There are no calling hours. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
