Barely two months ago, Frankie and I were having breakfast with a mutual friend at Mike�s Place in Kent. The three of us talked before leaving about our day�s plans, and Frankie just smiled that great smile of his, saying, he hoped to show someone kindness that day.
I was so surprised to hear of Frank's passing. I had known him since the days of flying out at Miller's Airport. He was always such a pleasant person to be around...we always enjoyed his company.
Dear Dabney, Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Corbi, you have both been in my prayers since Cam had told me of the trials and tribulations you were both going through. My condolences to you and Frank's family and I wish you better health and times ahead. Love Rob
It was my priviledge to meet Frankie back in the 60's at Youngstown Executive Airport. Having worked for the Corbi Family for 42 years, I know of no one that could make every day a brighter one. His sense of humor will be always be remembered. There was a special bond between him and his Uncle Mario. Every day was a new adventure! Deepest sympathy to his family.
I have had the privlege of calling Frankie my friend since 1971 when his dad hired me as a 17 year old line boy at Youngstown Executive. He was truly one of the kindest and most decent people I 've ever known. Through visits and phone calls throughout the years Frankie always had a way of making me feel nostalgic about the past as well as enthusiastic about the future. I will miss you Frankie
A great friend and Aviator. We had lost touch for a couple of years, it was with a heavy heart to find that this was indeed our Frankie who had Gone West. Our family and friends at the Barber Airport do offer very sincere condolances to the family. I have so many fond memories of this Frank , his Dad , his Mom and all the other Corbi's... Farewell old friend we will thank of you often.
