Frank Bugara's Obituary
Frank Bugara, 81, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at 4:00 p.m. at Bel Air Care Center. Born on October 18, 1928 in Alliance, he lived here all of his life and was a member of First Friends Church. Mr. Bugara was a U. S. Army veteran. He retired in 1990 from T & W Forge where he was employed as a high lift driver. Frank was formerly a butcher at John Liber s, Fairmount Provision and Neiman s in Minerva. Frank was involved with the Hot Stove League for many years and had served as a manager. He was an avid Alliance high School sports fan and a Booster member. He was also an active bowler and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include four daughters, Sue Dean of Alliance, Debbie Collins of Alliance, Sandi Bugara of Sebring and Tina Marie Kingsman of Daytona Beach, FL; three sons, Virgil Bugara of Ocoee, FL, Donnie Bugara of Alliance and Joe Rauch of Columbus; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Mike Bugara of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his wife, Gladys (Gillman) Bugara on May 24, 1998, whom he married on October 18, 1951; a grandson, Andy Bugara; his parents, Charles and Helen (Kostick) Bugara; a sister, Ann Ritter; and two brothers, Steve and Chuck Bugara. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, November 14, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. Interment, with military honors provided by the Alliance American Legion Post 166 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1036, will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
