Gene was one fine all around athlete and a better Friend. Never one to pass you by without always a "hello". He was an extremely wonderful Friend and a bright, intelligent person. I Always looked at Gene as a very good Friend and a very good young man. I will remember him in Prayer and give my Deepest condolences to the Family. May he rest in Peace in God's warm arms.

Gene was a good friend and great athlete. We battled it out on the field during football practice but still hung out together at times during and after the season, mostly at athletic events or at the Youth Center. I thought he graduated in 1973 though. Rest in peace my friend.
Gene and I played baseball together in 1974 & 75 winning the Hot Stove D League State Championship both years. His father was our coach. We became close friends and spent lots of time together off the field as well. He was a talented athlete in football, basketball and baseball and a good friend. Rest In Peace, Geno!
Gene was my childhood neighborhood friend, from liberty school to AHS. I will always remember his smile as he wandered down Seneca with his little dog Mickey following behind. His smile was a a welcoming one and we moved through our early years together, from kindergarten to the football days at the “new high school”. I will always remember his sweet smile and appreciative grace. Good memories always.
