SO SORRY TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF ELLIE.REFLECTING BACK A FEW YEARS AGO. ELLIE WAS THE NAVIGATOR, I WAS THE DRIVER. JEFF GALIETI AND WIFE KODUA WANTED TO SEE ALL THE PLACES THAT THE KLAN FAMILY LIVED....WHERE MR KLAN, ELLIE FATHER, AND MOTHER LIVED.. GOING BACK TO THE THIRTY'S AND FORTY'S. ELLIE POINTED OUT ALL THE PLACES IN BELOIT, SEBRING, AND ALLIANCE WHERE THEY LIVED AND WHERE HER DAD WORKED! BEING BORN AND SPENDING MY EARLY YEARS IN ALLIANCE, I.E. , NORTH END! I WAS AMAZED AT THE MANY PLACES IN BELOIT, SEBRING AND ALLIANCE. MR. KLAN AND MRS. KLAN WERE BOTH FINE PEOPLE. AND MR. KLAN GOD BLESS HIM, HAD MANY MOUTHS TO FEED (9) AND THANK YOU ELLIE FOR SHOWING US ALL THESE INTERESTING PLACES THAT OTHERS HAVE MISSED. VPG
I only knew Aunt Ellie for a short period of time, but within those 16 hours of getting to know her after pushing her around Chicago, I got to know her. Ellie was a wonderful person. I wish I had been able to spend more time with her. I know that only good things are going to come to her in the afterlife.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. May the words in John 5:28,29 give you hope and comfort.
Laura I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. The old neighborhood sure has changed with the loss of so many people we grew up with. May God Bless you & your family.
I wanted to send my condolences to the family and friends of Elinore. A scripture in the Bible explains what is in store for mankind. Its a great promise from God that I look forward to. Revelation 21:4 says he [God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. I hope that brings you some comfort in this hard time.
