Hello Dad,
I miss you so much. Life just isn't the same without you. I miss our conversations and all of your knowledge and wisdom, words of encouragement, hand written letters and your hugs, and much more. I am happy and in love. Wish you could meet him, to see the smile on your face again.

Your Loving Daughter,

Jim and I were saddened to hear of Duane's passing. Prayers for Mary Jo and his children as they travel through this difficult time. We both have fond memories of our time with him. Prayers and thoughts coming for your healing at this time.
Duane and I have been best of friends since meeting in school in the early 60's. Many memories I have of us track rabbit racing at Lake Placentia and our various escapades during junior and senior high days when we were invincible. Our "group" consisted of Gary Bradley, Mark Maholm, John Sherban, Bob Liebhart and Richard Searfoss. Usually playing pinball at Parkway Lanes before cruising State street and heading for the Airport Inn for 3.2 beer and BS.
My thoughts prayers for all the family during this sorrowful time.

Duane was my best friend when we were 5 - 6 years old. We lived on Liberty and the Shafer family lived on Seneca. When Duane's family moved to Clark Street we lost contact. I can still remember the games we played as kids. May God rest his soul and the family fine solace in this time of sorrow.
