You have my sincere condolences on the loss of your father.
Dr. Lukez was a wonderful man, and a great doctor. I went to him when I was a baby. When I got hit by a car at the age of 3 my mother took me to the ER. I was screaming, I want my Doctor Lukez!!! I wouldn't let any other doctor touch me. When he walked in and seen me covered in blood he put his head down and said, I can't work on her... she's one of mine... I can't do this! He quickly walked out. Later a nurse told my mother he was standing in the hallway crying because he had expected the worse. He had so much compassion for children. The world has truly lost a wonderful, kind, and special person. I will always remember him!
So sorry for your loss. He truly was a great man. This community has lost a compassionate, caring and kind doctor. He was my pediatrician as well as my 3 children's. He was always there for us, He would even have me call him at home if my kids needed him. There will never be another like him.
We were so saddened to hear about the loss of Doc. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this very difficult time.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Dr. Lukez was a wonderful pediatrician, he was my doctor as a child and I was lucky enough that he was still in practice to be my 3 children's pediatrician. He had such a wonderful way about him with children and their health. He will be greatly missed.
Sorry about your loss. He was my doctor too. Still to this day I have yet to find another doctor like him.
I was so sad to hear about Dr. Lukez's passing. I worked with him for 7 years at Alliance hospital and can say he was a rare breed as a physician. He was so dedicated and caring for his patients. He was the only doctor I know who you could call at 2am about asick child and he wouldn't be upset for getting woken up. He would even call back several hours later to check up on his patient. He loved to talk and share stories from his past. We spent quite a lot of time talking. He was a friend. After retirement I would run into him from time to time and he would always ask how things were going. He told me how his health was declining and how he was suffering at times. I felt so frustrated for him. He will always be remembered by those he served and all his friends. What a great man. He will truly be missed.
Dr.Lukez was truly a wonderful man and dedicated doctor. He was my doctor for 18 years. I will truly miss him. I can remember being very sick with asthma as a child and no matter what time of night it was my mom could always give Dr.Lukez a call and he would be at the hospital within minutes. I only wish my daughter had the pleasure of meeting such a wonderful man.
A wonderful and passionate Doctor! His skills will be so greatly missed. My heart goes out to his family and wonderful staff! A sad end of an Era to Alliance, Ohio! I went to him since I was a baby and even up to adulthood. Great human being!
