Dona, I feel priviledged that you were my life long friend. You introduced me to the American way of life. When we bought furniture you always reminded me: 90 days, same as cash. You bought me my fist milk shake, starting a life long habit. You hooked me up with a dentist, a pediatrician and you were there when each of my three kids were born. You and your wonderful husband Kenny were at my side when my husband Edwin died and when I moved to begin my first teaching job. Our friendship continued per telephone. In fact, every time we talked we continued exactly where we left off the last time. You were interested in everything and had a firm opiion on every topic. Your mind remained sharp even though you struggled with many health challenges. You were true to yourself and had integrity. You were an American original. I will miss you and so will anyone who ever knew you. Good bye, dear friend, I know you are in a better place.
