What a great man. He was my football coach at Regina. Classy man that taught me more than just sports.
My condolences on the passing of Coach Furcolow, as I always called him. I always respected him as our football coach at St. Joseph's in the late 60's and always appreciated him for being sure I was still included with the team after a heart diagnosis precluded me from playing my 8th grade year. As I grow older, I appreciate more and more the sacrifices and impact that individuals like Coach Furcolow have on young lives, doing things such as giving of their time and energy to coach a bunch of 5-8 grade knotheads, as he called us sometimes. My thoughts and prayers will be with you at this difficult time. Greg Burke/Natchitoches, LA
