Benjamin J. "Bugs" Thomas' Obituary
Benjamin J. "Bugs" Thomas, 51, of Alliance died on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 8:19 a.m. at Aultman Hospital. Born on June 17, 1957 in Canton, Benjamin was a resident of Alliance for the last 15 years. He graduated from Perry High School and grew up attending St. Jacobs Lutheran Church. He was employed at Rich Young Cooling & Heating, where he performed repairs and installation. Mr. Thomas was a member of the Sandyville Eagles many years ago. In his past-time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and working outside on his property in Robertsville. He is survived by his girlfriend of 14 years, Connie Davis; a brother, Christopher (Peggy) Thomas; two sisters, Mary (Wesley) Schaub and Helen (Harold) Gortney; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert William and Margaret (Hartong) Thomas Snyder; and a brother, Robert William "Bill" Thomas. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
