Yola C. Brunori's Obituary
Yola C. Brunori, 95, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 1:08 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. Born on March 1, 1913 in Providence di Brescia, Italy, she had lived in Alliance most of her life. Yola was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and had retired from the Alliance Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Brunori was a member of the Ladies of the Christopher and the Alliance Manufacturing Retiree s Club. In her past-time, she enjoyed crocheting and beading. She is survived by her a daughter, Catherine (Walter) Buhn of Alliance; two grandchildren, David (Jennifer) Buhn of Westerville and Carla (Jeff) Sturm of Massillon; a step-granddaughter, Taylor Sturm of Massillon; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Carlo A. Brunori on April 2, 1969, whom she married on October 31, 1934; her parents, August C. and Catterina (Bericchia) Carli; and four brothers, Harry, Alfred, Ernest and Victor Carli. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, December 12, 2008 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, December 13, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht, as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
