Wilma E. Merryman's Obituary
Wilma E. Merryman, 77, of Sebring, died on Thursday, September 1, 2005, at 7:50 p.m., at Aultman Hospital in Canton. Wilma was born in Alliance on September 18, 1927, and had lived most of her life in Alliance. She was a graduate of Alliance City Hospital where she received her nursing degree. She was a retired Registered Nurse and a member of the Alliance Evangelical Friends Church Mrs. Merryman is survived by her husband Marion L. Merryman, they were married on June 13, 1948; two daughters, JoAnn (Dave) Hodgekin of Alliance, and Paula (Curt) Faber of Louisville; two sons, John T. (Lorie) Merryman of Roswell, GA, and David L. (Jeanne) Merryman of Brandenburg, KY; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Jane Hunter of Minerva, and Betty Lou Knight of Cleveland, TN; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard E. and Ethel L. (Mounts) Baylor; two sisters, Mildred Stuckey and Evelyn Haynam; and two brothers, Glenn and Lynn Baylor. A Memorial service will be held at the Alliance Evangelical Friends Church on Sunday, September 4, 2005, at 3:00 p.m., with Pastor Rick Sams officiating. There will be no calling hours. The Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
