Wilma Irene (Ritchie) Leasure's Obituary
Wilma Irene Leasure, 88, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at Canterbury Villa of Alliance. She was born on March 15, 1923 in Fly, Ohio, and lived in Alliance most of her life. Wilma loved taking care of animals. She is survived by her two daughters, Eileen Best of Alliance and Karan Phillips of Alliance; two sons, Eugene Leasure of Sulphur, LA, and Charles Husat of Alliance; 17 grandchildren, Phillip, Bryan, Vikki, Todd, Nicol, Charles "Jay", Rob, Tina, Eric, Dusty, Chris, Mike, Greg, Tom, Amy, Joanna and Beth; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Vonley Leasure on October 28, 1983, whom she married on January 18, 1947; a grandson, Troy Husat; four great-grandchildren, Katherine Ayers, Francis, Clair and John Wright; a daughter-in-law, Jean Husat; a son-in-law, Terry Best; her parents, Bryan and Grace (Richeson) Leasure; her father, Fred Ritchie; and a brother, Richard Ritchie. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, July 22, 2011 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with her grandchildren Eric Wright and Tony Wright co-officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
