Wilma M. Eyler's Obituary
Wilma M. Eyler, 80, of Alliance, died on Thursday, February 22, 2007, at 1:05 p.m. at Community Care Center. She was born on April 7, 1926 in E. Springfield, Ohio and has made Alliance her home since 1939. Wilma retired from the Alliance Manufacturing Company after 25 years of service. She then worked part-time for Mt. Union College for 9 years as a server with their food service. One of her favorite hobbies was collecting angels. She is survived by two daughters, Carol Chambers of Rowland Hts, Ca and Jewel Walker of Alliance; three sons, Ed Jerome of Alliance, Thomas (Sandra) Eyler Jr., of Alliance, and Terry Eyler of Alliance; two step daughters, Patricia Prescott of PA and Marjorie Bott of Pica Rivera, CA; two brothers, Jerry Ritchie of Alliance and Joe Ritchie of Zepher Hills, FL; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Eyler, Sr. on January 17, 1991, whom she married on November 25, 1943; her father, Dewey Ritchie; her mother, Hazel Gordon; her step-father, James Gordon; two sisters, Dorothy Oluich and Betty Leavitt; and one brother, Raymond Ritchie. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, February 25, 2007 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, February 26, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Rod Doran of the Community Bible Church officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
