He was great man. One of the first people I met when I started working for the Boy Scouts of America. He was a key leader in the Alliance community. My he rest in peace.
Thoughts and Prayers to the Zumbar Family.
I was a non-traditional student at Walsh, returning to college after many years. I had a dream of going to law school and it was Prof. Zumbar who sought me out and gave me the encouragement and confidence I so desperately needed, as he did to many others. To encounter him as a Professor or a friend was a privilege that many treasured. Sincere condolences to his beloved family.
Dear Zumbar Family, Mr.Zumbar was my Professor for History at Walsh University in 96. I have always remembered his charisma teaching, taking an interest in me as a person and to this day can remember his quotes, Be a monk and if you can not be a monk help a monk Secret to the middle ages. Education is key.I still have my note book from history and refer to it on occasion. I enjoyed his class and have taken an interest in History because of his wit, humor and knowledge. My prayers are with you. Deepest sympathy.

To the Zumbar family, I am very sorry for your loss. I just found out. Your (husband, father, ect.) was my professor at Walsh. I sat in his class and I was amazed (blown away) with how intelligent he was and how professional he presented himself (very witty). He was the first educator to get through to me in a positive way (wanting to learn more, wanting to know what he knew). He was a great leader to many of us students.
