William "Bill" Gallina, Sr.'s Obituary
William "Bill" Gallina, Sr., 79, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, January 15, 2002, at 8:25 a.m. at Canterbury Villa of Alliance. Born in Alliance on April 16, 1922, he had lived in the Alliance area for all of his life. Mr. Gallina was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and had retried from Armours. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, William and Susan Gallina, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Randy Domer; daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and Barry Hofer of Bath Twp., Akron; granddaughter and her husband, Denise and Perry Ring; granddaughter, Rachelle Gallina; grandson and his wife, William and Jennifer Gallina, III; grandson.and his wife, Michael and Heather Domer; granddaughter and her husband, Michele and Andrew Zumbar; granddaugter and her husband, Jennifer and Michael Ritchie; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Etta Ramsey of Winter Park, FI, and Josephine Baker of Bakersfield, Ca.; two brothers, Forrest Gallina of Alliance, and Gene Gallina of Covina, Ca.; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his wife, Anna (Schneider) Gallina on July 7, 1994, (whom he married on Oct. 2, 1943); his parents, Henry and Frances (Bettine) Gallina; two brothers, Lewis Gallina and Quillen Gallina. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, January 18, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Monsignor James A. Kulp as celebrant. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, January 18, 2002, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
