William Gerald Brown's Obituary
William Gerald Brown, 76, of Alliance, died on Sunday, March 23, 2008, at 8:12 p.m. in Celebration, FL. He was born on March 2, 1932 in Claysburg, PA, and lived in Alliance since 1950. William was a general foreman in cold draw at B & W Tubular Products until retiring on March 1, 1992. Mr. Brown was a member of the Foreman s Club and the Oakgrove golf course. In his past time Bill enjoyed golfing. He is survived by his wife, Betty (Voytko) Brown whom he married on October 14, 1950; two daughters, Debra (Ed) Good of North Canton and Robin Sanor of Alliance; six grandchildren, Jamie (Kellie), Nick, Cady, Brittany, Antonio and Angelo; a great-granddaughter, Emma Jo; three sisters, Thelma (Gene) Wentz of Martinsburg, PA, Belvadine Eash of Sebring and Connie McMillen of Alliance; three brothers, Earl (Barbara) Brown of Alumbank PA, Sheldon (Sharon) Brown of Sebring and Bernard (Dorothy) Brown of Titusville, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were parents, Earl and Alma (Fleegle) Brown; two sisters, Vernetta McDonald and Violet Allison; and two brothers, Virgil Hainsey and Floyd Hainsey. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, March 28, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Michael Ping of Alliance First Assembly of God officiating.
