William "Bill" Teal's Obituary
Bill was born at Alliance City Hospital to Lula (Myers) Teal and Robert Teal. Bill lived most of his life in the Canton and Alliance areas, and also one year in Houston, Texas.
He graduated from Middlebranch High School where he went on to varsity letter in football (2 years), basketball varsity (1 year), track varsity (2 years), and setting a new school record in the long jump event.
After graduating, he went on to get a job at Babcock and Wilcox Tubular, working for them for the next 30 years.
On July 27, 1956, he married the girl of his dreams, Lenore A. Florey. On July 27, 2017 they were married for 61 great years.
Bill and Lenore are both Catholics and belong to St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring. They had two daughters, Sally Joe born May 1957 weighing only 12 ounces and only lived for 12 hours; and a second daughter Heidi Ann born in 1963 weighing only 1 pound, 15 oz. and lived only five days.
Then in May 1960 they were blessed with a boy child they named Todd, weighing 4 pounds. Now at age 57, he is very strong and a wonderful son. Todd has been our life. Never one bit of trouble. Always there for us. He has been God’s gift to us every day. He is married to Connie (Frank) Teal, and they have blessed us with two grandchildren: Joel and Chelsea.
Bill is also survived by three sisters, Virginia (Ray) Fetty of Navarre, OH, Genieve (Archie) Domer of Canton, OH, and Betty Gyalog of Canton, OH, who has been a saint to my wife and myself. thank you so much. Betty your kindness will so someday be noticed in heaven. We both love you so much thank you. Also surviving are two sister’s-in-law, Betty Teal of Canada and Iola (Paris) Teal of Alliance. Bill also has many nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert and Lula Teal; grandparents, Ward (Nannie) Myers; sister, Thelma (Al) Stanford; two brothers, Robert Teal and Thomas Teal.
I must mention what a wonderful wife Lenore was to me, she nursed and took care of my sickness and pain for me for at least the last 25 years or so. And when we found out of my liver cancer, she could have not been a more kind-full and wonderful wife & nurse. I only know God makes these plans for all of us.
Remember each day is a gift from God.
So much more I would like to say to my wife Lenore and my very special sister Betty. I love and pray for all of you.
