William L. "Bill" Anderson's Obituary
William L. "Bill" Anderson, 77, of Louisville, died on Saturday, December 2, 2006, at 1:43 p.m. at Mercy Medical Center. Bill was born on June 18, 1929 in Asheville, NC and lived in this area since 1967. Choosing the military as his career with the U. S. Marine Corps, he retired after 20 years, serving in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. After returning home, he was a retail store manager and then a desk manager at Parkway Lanes for almost 20 years. Throughout his life, he enjoyed bowling and golfing. Bill is survived by his wife, Janet (Trocheck) Anderson, whom he married on June 4, 1955; a son, Scott (Lauren) Anderson of Solon, OH; a grandson, Blake; a sister, Julia Garland of Otto, NC; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, William E. and Lacy (Moore) Anderson; and two sisters, Margaret Louise Anderson and Christine Rogers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht, as celebrant. There will be no calling hours. Interment will take place in North Carolina.
