Weston S. Phillips' Obituary
Weston S. Phillips, 56, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. at his home. He was born on August 27, 1950 in Alliance, and lived in Alliance all of his life. He served his apprenticeship as a tool and die maker. He was a member of the Alliance Church of the Nazarene. Mr. Phillips was employed as a tool and die maker for over 35 years and retired from Daimler-Chrysler. He enjoyed golf, fishing and karaoke. Weston is survived by his three daughters, Autumn Blythe of Canton, Alyshia Smith of Canton and Ashley O Brien of Austintown; three sons, Michael Phillips, Zachary Phillips and Jacob Phillips all of Alliance; eight grandchildren; one sister, Phoebe Phillips of Newark; three brothers, John Phillips of Alliance, Paul Phillips of Sebring and George Phillips of Damascus; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert James and Ethel Marie (Coe) Phillips; and one brother, James Phillips. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Simpson of the Alliance Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
