Wendell Springer's Obituary
Wendell Springer, 75, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2003, at 2:45 p.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. Born in Alliance on April 16, 1928, he was a resident of Alliance for all of his life. A graduate of Alliance High School, he retired from the Alliance Machine Company where he was employed for 30 years. He was a member of the Alliance Senior Citizens Center. He is survived by his wife Martha (Vanetti) Springer, whom he married on February 23, 1951; a daughter, Julie (Mike) Martija of Alliance; one granddaughter, Ashley; two brothers, Marvin Springer of Alliance and Ronald Springer of Sebring; and three nephews, Craig, David and Jeff Srpinger. Preceding him in death were his parents, Charles and Lena (Glanzman) Springer. Private services will be held following cremation. There are no calling hours. The Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
