Wanda Furbee's Obituary
Wanda Furbee (née Rabuzzi), 94, of Kent, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 6:30 am at The Briarwood in Stow, Ohio.
She was born on November 2, 1923 in Washington, Pennsylvania to Augusto and Giustina (Della Gherardesci) Rabuzzi.
Wanda received her education at Alliance High School.  She was a wonderful mother & grandmother and loved animals.
Survivors include daughter, Evonn N. (Glenn) Welton of Kent, OH; two grandchildren, Amanda Welton and Aaron Welton, both of Kent, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Odger  Furbee, whom died on May 3, 2003 (they were married on May 5, 1949); her parents, Augusto and Giustina Rabuzzi; sister, Jean Santucci; and three brothers, Geno Rabuzzi, Eugene Rabuzzi, and Frank Rabuzzi.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Matthew J. Mankowski as celebrant.  Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
