Wanda L. Anderson's Obituary
Wanda Lou Anderson, 66, of Alliance, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at 9:41 p.m., at Altercare of Alliance. She was born on March 7, 1944 in Alliance, and lived in the Alliance area all her life. A graduate of Sebring McKinley High School, she was a member of Alliance Baptist Temple. Wanda loved being a homemaker and enjoyed bowling, the outdoors and walking with her dog "Ginger." She is survived by her husband, Duane M. Anderson whom she married on September 21, 1968; a daughter, Lisa (John) Slayton of Canton; a son, Brian C. Buehler of Alliance; and her mother, Ida (Ring) Rupe. Preceding her in death was her father, Kenneth Buehler. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, May 17, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Joseph A. Peters officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all at Altercare for their exceptional care given to Wanda.
