Waldo K. "Walt" Beck's Obituary
Waldo “Walt” K. Beck, 83, of Alliance, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023 at 2:47 pm at Altercare of Alliance.
Born on February 15, 1940 in Alliance, one of twin sons to Jefferson and Betty (Rogers) Beck, he lived in Alliance all of his life.
A 1957 graduate of Sebring McKinley High School, Walt was a member of First Immanuel United Church of Christ.
Walt was employed with Alliance City Schools as Custodian and retired after 23 years of service.
He was an avid sports fan, following the Cleveland Browns, Indians, Cavaliers and Mt. Union Football. He also enjoyed gardening and tinkering with lawn equipment.
Survivors include his wife Patricia (Saunier) Beck, whom he married on January 9, 1999; two brothers, Calvin (Pam) Beck and Larry Beck; three sisters, Carol (Jim) Hale, Janet Vogus and Pam (Lorin) Kleinhans; his step-daughter, Kimberly (Michael) Kerr of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his twin brother, Wilbur Beck; two other brothers, Dale and Ron Beck; and his first wife, Joan (Wood) Beck.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
