Virginia Gunias' Obituary
Virginia (Nedelka) Gunias, 90, of Alliance, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at 6:00 am at Bel Air Senior Living Community.
Born on April 5, 1925 in Masontown, West Virginia to Nicholas and Florentina (Bulea) Nedelka, she lived in Alliance and Canton areas most of her life.
Virginia was a cook at the Harvest Inn for many years.
She loved to play cards with her grandchildren and enjoyed watching sports.
Survivors include her daughter, Pam (Michael) Bugara of Alliance; her son, Ron (Mel) Gunias of Homeworth; 5 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband Peter C. Gunias, on June 21, 1962; her parents; sister, Mary Duhan; three brothers, Nicholas, Tom, and Torch Nedelka.
The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
Burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery.
