Vincent J. "Jimmy" Morzilli's Obituary
Vincent J. "Jimmy" Morzilli, 80, of Alliance, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Emergency Room at Alliance Community Hospital on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 2:25 p.m. Mr. Morzilli was born on March 16, 1926 in Alliance, and lived in Alliance all of his life. A US Navy veteran of World War II, Vincent was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where he served as an usher for many years. Mr. Morzilli retired from Alliance Machine Company with 35 years of service as a Key Fitter. He was a member of the Roma Society, the Dante Alighieri Society and the Christopher Columbus Society. Vincent is survived by two step-daughters, Gloria (Dale) Radtka and Nora (Richard) James all of Canton; a step-son, Norman Kaufman of Heber, AZ; five step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth Kinnard of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Morzilli was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Lenz) Morzilli on December 13, 1985 whom he married on June 30, 1956; parents, Antonio and Constance (Myocati) Morzilli; and a sister, Josephine Mastrocesare. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, November 13, 2006 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht as celebrant. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
